or the divisions of Kid Pitch through Senior, evaluations are required for ALL players.                         Evaluations help create teams that are equally competitive, ensuring an enjoyable season for all.

IMPORTANT: The ages listed below are LEAGUE AGES. To determine your player's LEAGUE AGE please see the Registration page for full details.

The rules may change at any time during the season, and aren't solely limited to the following:

 

Tee ball Baseball  (League age 5 and 6)
Coach Pitch Baseball  (League age 6, 7, and 8)
Kid Pitch Baseball  (League age 8 and 9)
Minors Baseball  (League age 9 and 10)
Senior Minors Baseball  (League age 11 and 12*)
Majors Baseball  (League age 11 and 12)
Intermediate (50/70) Baseball  (League age 13)
Junior Baseball  (League age 13 and 14)
Senior Baseball  (League age 14, 15, and 16)

 

 

 

Tee ball Baseball

● League Age 5 and 6
     ○ League Age 6 players may play in the Coach Pitch Division if they have
played 1 season of tee ball
● All players get medals
● 10 Game Season
● No tournament
● No new inning may begin 50 minutes after start of game; 1 hour hard stop
● Teams will be formed using a blind draft

Defense
● Tees will be used for batters the first 3 weeks of the season, and then transitions
to Coach Pitch with the use of the tee after 3 strikes
● Safetee baseballs are used
● Playing time will be generally equal (use of the position rotation sheet is
recommended)
● 10 defensive players are used
● (4) outfield positions will be used, equally spaced and at least 5' off infield grass


Offense
● Bat ½ order (note: no outs first 2 weeks). After 1st 2 week, coaches may agree
before game to pull runners off base who get out.
● Any runner put out by the defense is removed from the base.
● There is no 3 out rule.
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● No stealing
● Runners may NOT advance on over-throws

 

 

Coach Pitch Baseball

● League Age 6, 7, or 8
○ League Age 6 players must have played 1 season of tee ball to play in
the Coach Pitch Division.
○ League Age 8 players may opt to “evaluate” to play Kid Pitch Baseball.
● All players get medals
● 12 Game Regular Season
● No new inning may begin 1 hour 20 minutes after start of game; hard stop 1
hour 30 min.
● Teams will be formed using a blind draft


Defense
● Coaches will pitch from kneeling or standing position about 35 feet away from
home plate. Coaches must throw overhand.
● If a batted ball hits the coach, or the bucket, it is a dead ball and runners may
advance to the next base. Batter/runner gets first base.
● Regular baseballs are used.
● Playing time will be generally equal (use of the position rotation sheet is
recommended)
● 10 defensive players are used
● (4) outfield positions will be used, equally spaced and at least 10' off infield
grass


Offense
● Teams will bat for 3 outs or until run limit is reached
● 5 run limit every inning
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Intentional bunting is NOT allowed
● No stealing
● Runners may NOT advance on over-throws, or passed balls.

 

 

Kid Pitch Baseball

● League Age 8 and 9
   ○ Players League Age 8 may sign up and opt to “evaluate” for the Kid
Pitch division. To balance teams, only a few League Age 8 players
with strong throwing and fielding abilities will be selected for the Kid
Pitch division.
   ○ Players League Age 9 may opt to be evaluated to play Minors Baseball
● 11 Game Regular Season
● A short, competitive tournament will be played after the end of the regular
season
● On weekdays if a game follows , no new inning may begin 1 hour 20 minutes after
after listed game start time; 1 hour 40 min hard stop.
● On weekdays if NO game follows , no new inning may begin 1 hour 50 minutes
after listed game start time. Hard stop after 2 hour 10 minutes
● On Saturdays if NO game follows, no new inning may begin 1 hour 50 minutes
after listed game start time and hard stop after 2 hour 10 minutes
● In an effort to balance teams, teams will be formed based on skill evaluations


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 46 feet
● Playing time will be generally equal, 9 defensive outs minimum playing time
● 10 defensive players are used
● (4) outfield positions will be used, equally spaced and approximately 10' off
infield grass


Offense
● 5 run limit, no run limit for the 6th inning
● Batters will begin with a 1-1 count
● NO WALKS - after ball 4, additional pitches from coach at a distance no closer
than 35ft. and overhand. Existing count on batter is continued. If last pitch
fouled off, an additional pitch is given. No bunting allowed with coach pitching.
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Bunting is allowed when kid pitchers are pitching
● Runners may steal one base per batter.
● Runners may not leave contact with the base until a pitched ball reaches the
batter. Leaving early the runner is returned to the base (not called out)
● Runners may only advance home on a batted ball or when forced.
● Runners may only advance 1 base on over-throws (at runner's risk of being put
out) on a non-batted ball.
● Runners stop advancing when a batted ball is secured in the infield.
● No mercy rule will be in effect
● pool players may be used in this division; through player agent ONLY

 

Minors Baseball

● League Age 9 and 10
● A limited number of players League Age 9 will be selected for play in this division
based upon registration numbers to balance teams. Players League Age 9 that
are not selected for a team in this division will be placed on a Kid Pitch team.
● 11 Game Regular Season
● A short, competitive tournament will be played after the end of the regular
season
● On weekdays if a game follows , no new inning may begin 1 hour 20 minutes after
listed game start time; 1 hour 40 min hard stop. Exception: if on field 11 the time
limit will be 1 hr 30 minutes for no new inning and 1hr 50 minutes for hard stop.
● On weekdays if NO game follows , no new inning may begin 1 hour 50 minutes
after listed game start time. NO HARD STOP other than darkness or
'curfew'(10pm)
● [This division doesn’t play on Saturdays; however, in the rare instance that it
were to occur.] On Saturdays if NO game follows, no new inning may begin 1
hour 50 minutes after listed game start time and no hard stop. If game follows,
hard stop at 2:10.
● Teams are “drafted” by coaches using a snake format (first pick in one round
gets last pick in next round.. repeat)
● This division is eligible for selection to the 9/10 All-Star team.


Defense
● Pitching distance is 46 feet. Bases are 60 feet.
● 9 defensive outs minimum playing time in six inning game.
● 10 defensive players are used.


Offense
● 5 run limit, no run limit for the 6th inning only
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Runners may steal bases - no lead offs until a pitched ball reaches the batter.
● Mercy rule: 10 runs after 4 complete innings (3 ½ innings if home team is ahead)
● Infield fly rule IS in effect.
● No uncaught third strike.

 

Senior Minors Baseball

● League Age 11 and 12*
   ○ Players League Age 11 may opt to be evaluated to play Majors
Baseball. League Age 11 players that are not selected to a Majors
team will play in this Senior Minors division.
   ○ *Players League Age 12 must request to “play down” in this division.
   ○ *Players League Age 12 are not eligible to pitch at this level.
● Senior Minors division is more player development focused than the more
competitive Majors division.
● 12 Game Regular Season
● A tournament may be played after the end of the regular season; in lieu of a
tournament, an all-star game may be substituted, or both can be played.
● No time limit other than darkness (Field #9)
● In an effort to balance teams, teams will be formed based on skill evaluations


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 46 feet
● 9 defensive outs minimum playing time
● 10 Defensive players are used
● (4) outfield positions will be used, equally spaced and at least 10' off infield
grass
● NO uncaught third strike rule in effect - batter is out; runners may advance at
own peril

 

Offense
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Bunting is allowed
● Runners may steal bases
● (Runners may not leave contact with the base until a pitched ball reaches the
batter)
● Runners may advance on over-throws (at runner’s risk of being put out)
● Mercy rule: 10 runs after 4 complete innings (3 ½ innings if home team is ahead)
● Five Run Limit per inning except for the sixth inning.
● On Weeknights, when there is a double header, no new inning after 1 hr and 40
minutes on the first game and no new inning on second game after 9:30pm.

 

Majors Baseball

● League Age 11 and 12
   ○ A limited number of players League Age 11 will be drafted for play in
this division based upon registration numbers to balance teams.
Players League Age 11 that are not selected for a team in this division
will be placed on a Senior Minors team.
● Majors is a more competitive division than the Senior Minors division.
● 12 Game Regular Season
● District 9 Team tournament will be played after the end of the regular season
● Tie Breaker Rules: Head to Head, then Runs Against, then Runs Scored
● No time limit other than darkness (Field #9) and curfew (no inning starts after
9:50 pm)
● Teams are “drafted” by coaches using a snake format (first pick in one round
gets last pick in next round.. repeat)
● This division is eligible for selection to the League Age 11 or the 11/12 All-Star
team.


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 46 feet
● 9 defensive outs minimum playing time
● 9 defensive players are used
● Infield Fly rule IS in affect
● Uncaught 3rd strike and batter may attempt to advance to 1st: if there are two
outs, or, with less than two outs and 1st base was unoccupied at the time of the
pitch. A ball that bounces before the catcher secures it is considered to be
uncaught.


Offense
● NO run limit
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Runners may not leave contact with the base until a pitched ball reaches the
batter
● Runners may advance on over-throws (at runner’s risk of being put out)
● Mercy rule: 10 runs after 4 complete innings (3 ½ innings if home team is ahead)

 

Intermediate (50/70) Baseball

● League Age 12 & 13
   ○ A limited number of players League Age 12 will be drafted for play in this
division based upon registration numbers to balance teams. Players League
Age 12 that are not selected for a team in this division will be placed on a
Majors team.
● District 9 Team tournament will be played after then end of the regular season
● No time limit other than darkness (Field #8) or curfew (no new inning after
10:00pm).
● Teams are “drafted” by coaches using a snake format (first pick in one round
gets last pick in next round.. repeat)
● This division is eligible for selection to the Intermediate All-Star team.


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 50 feet
● 12 defensive outs minimum playing time
● 9 Defensive players are used


Offense

 NO run limit
● Every player will bat in line-up (continuous batting order). (Rule 4.04) A player
not listed on the original batting order and arrives late is to be added at the
bottom of the order
● Length between bases is 70 feet
● Runners may steal bases and may lead-off the base
● Mercy rule: 10 runs after 5 complete innings (4 ½ innings if home team is ahead)
15 runs after 4 complete innings (3 ½ innings if home team is ahead)
● Games are 7 innings

 

 

Junior Baseball

● League Age 13 & 14
   ○ League Age 13 players may choose to play in the Intermediate
(50/70) baseball division.
   ○ Any player that has played on a high school team must play in the
Seniors division.
● This is an inter-league division, game and tournament schedules will be set
accordingly.
● No time limit, other than darkness and curfew, unless game is part of a double
header.
● Teams are “drafted” by coaches
● This division is eligible for selection to the Juniors All-Star team.


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 60 feet, 6 inches
● Minimum playing time will follow the requirements of the Little League rule book


Offense
● NO run limit
● Batting requirements will follow the requirements of the Little League rule book
● Length between bases is 90 feet
● Runners may steal bases and may lead-off the base
● Mercy rule: 10 runs after 5 complete innings (4 ½ innings if home team is
ahead). 15 runs after 4 complete innings (3 ½ innings if home team is leading)

 

Senior Baseball

● League Ages 14, 15 & 16
   ○ League Age 14 players may choose to play in the Junior baseball
division.
● This is an inter-league division, game and tournament schedules will be set
accordingly.
● No time limit, other than darkness or curfew, unless game is part of a double
header
● Teams are “drafted” by coaches


Defense
● Pitch counts MUST be recorded in the pitch count book during the game AND on
the website within 24 hours after the game
● Pitching distance is 60 feet, 6 inches
● Minimum playing time will follow the requirements of the Little League rule book
